Da ich hier noch nichts drüber gelesen habe...
CNC Boards hat sich anscheinend mit EA zusammen getan...
Seit neuestem ist ein "cncb" in jedem channel und informiert in Echtzeit über neue Ereignisse.
Als da wären: Win/Loss-Streaks, Made someones day u.ä. (die neuen Features von cncb). Was aber echt ganz nice ist, es kommen immer wieder Meldungen rein ala: "Caution! "ABCDEF" has entered casual 1 (29,4%DC-Rate in XXX Games)." Da ist man schonmal vorgewarnt. Auf jeden Fall ein sehr nices Ding, auch wenns leider viel zu spät kommt...
 
Hab mich schon gestern gewundert was das ist :D. Find ich aber auch gut, nur wie du schon sagtest, leider zu spät
 
Wieso kommen solche Aktionen immer wenn ein Spiel im Sterben liegt Oo
 
Kommt wirklich spät, vor allem jetzt nach Release von CNC4. Hoffentlich behält AR3 noch genug Leute, damit solche Sachen nicht umsonst gekommen sind.
 
Ich bin derzeit auf der Suche nach "Befehlen" für den cncb-Bot.

"#stats" gibt die eigenen Statistiken aus (Siegesserie, Platz, DC-Rate)

Falls ihr andere Befehle kennt, bitte posten! Danke!
Ich werde dann das ganze zusammenfügen und nochmal layouten (Befehl > Ausgabe)...
 
jo hab ich auch schon gemerkt ;) ich lach mich immer über die DC-Raten kaputt - 20% DC, 30% DC omg

So it really was only a matter of time until it was caught.

I tried making some changes to the bot today... and ran it... only to receive another ban immediately! This means gamespy figured out how to detect it was running. So... cncb is no more!

Over the next few days I will add the functionality that was exclusive to the bot (such as joining a clan) to the cncboards.net site... but the downside is now anybody wanting to participate in the clan wars has to create an account. Also, linking an RA3 player to an account now isn't as simple as typing '#link' in the chat.

It kinda sucks that GameSpy goes out of their way to ban an extremely useful tool for the community, when it is well known that they have a backlog of bans sent from EA to take care of...

:( Nicht gerade eine positive Entwicklung. Zum Glück sollten solche Geschichten mit dem neuen eigenen EA-Backend hoffentlich nicht mehr passieren.
 
Sehr sehr schade für die Community. Ich hoffe, dies wird rückgängig gemacht, damit diese äußerst nützliche Seite wieder ihren vollen Umfang anbieten kann.

Das schlimme daran ist, dass es die Arbeit von meinen Modkollegen auf gr.org massiv einschränken wird.

Edit2: Nach Rücksprache wird es den Fairplay wohl nicht beeinflussen.

Gayspy ist sowieso dumm, ich kenne keine anderen Server, wo man mittels Mirc in den Gamespy IRC kommt (naja, es bedarf mehr wie nur Mirc) einfach im Inet Kaffee ne halbe Stunde die Leute ärgern, yeah!

Your bot does violate their policy, but I am going to e-mail them to see if I can get it unbanned. I agree your bot is extremely useful.

I apologize if I missed an e-mail from you on this, i've been out of office a lot the last two weeks, but I will do everything within my power to try and get this turned back on.
